The ELDOM WHF08046FBR is a horizontal storage water heater with 77 L of usable capacity and a 3 kW copper heating element. The electrical connections are on the right and the water pipes exit at the bottom, which keeps installation tidy on low or sloped walls. Control is mechanical, via a combined on/off and temperature knob.
Horizontal body, 462 mm in diameter
The unit is 835 mm long and weighs 26.5 kg empty. This format fits above a bathroom door or under a sloping attic ceiling, where a vertical tank simply will not go.
Enamelled tank with SHIELD technology
The inner surface is coated with zirconium enamel formulated for wear resistance. Two magnesium anodes take on the corrosion load across the whole volume and are checked during routine servicing.
ECO mode at 60 °C for lower running costs
The thermostat has a dedicated setting for everyday economical operation. The "Holiday" position keeps the water above 5 °C when the home is left empty for longer periods.
Twin LED indicator and temperature scale
A red light shows the heating cycle is running, a white one that the set temperature has been reached. The temperature indicator on the panel shows how hot the water is at a glance.
Six-level protection and IP24 rating
The patented round flange handles excess pressure, while the combined metal valve acts as both non-return and safety valve. A capillary thermal cut-out disconnects the power in case of overheating, and frost protection looks after the installation in winter.
HFO Closed-Cells insulation over 33 mm thick
This new-generation polyurethane system has a fine closed-cell structure with no high-GWP blowing agents. The thick layer limits standby losses between heating cycles.
