The KENWOOD KMM-BT309 is a 1 DIN mechless car receiver with built-in Bluetooth, a front USB port and an AUX input. It plays MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV and FLAC files from a USB drive, while four channels of 50 W drive your car's standard speakers. The box includes a microphone with a 3 m cable, mounting sleeve, trim ring and two release keys.
Bluetooth with two phones connected at once
The receiver keeps two phones connected full time and answers a call from either one at the touch of a key. Up to five devices stay paired, and KENWOOD Music Mix switches playback between them without re-pairing. The supplied noise-cancelling microphone has a 3 m cable, so it can be placed close to the driver.
13-band EQ and Digital Time Alignment
The built-in digital sound processor times the output of each speaker so the sound reaches your ears together, adjustable in 2 cm steps. Crossover and filters are set separately for front, rear and subwoofer. All of it can also be tweaked from your phone via the KENWOOD Remote app.
Front USB and AUX behind a sliding cover
The USB port supplies up to 1500 mA, charging your phone while you control playback from the head unit. The 3.5 mm AUX input accepts any device with a headphone output. A sliding cover keeps both connectors free of dust when not in use.
Two-zone variable colour illumination
RGB LEDs behind the keys and display offer 31 brightness steps and can be matched to your dashboard lighting. Colour is set independently for two zones, and the dimmer works manually or on a timer. The LCD shows two lines of text and stays readable from wide angles.
Three RCA pre-outs for external amplifiers
Front, rear and subwoofer outputs deliver 2500 mV, enough headroom to build the system around a separate amplifier. Three-way bi-amp connection is supported as well. The P.CON control wire powers the amplifier up together with the head unit.
