These general terms and conditions regulate the relationship between Technopolis Bulgaria EAD and the persons using the website and the online store at www.technopolis.bg

Definitions

• “WE”, “TECHNOPOLIS”, “THE COMPANY” means Technopolis Bulgaria EAD with headquarters and principal place of business: city of Sofia, Mladost residential quarters, 265 Okolovrasten put, Hypermarket Technopolis, registered in the commercial register of the Registry Agency with UIC: 130858590, tel.: 070012340/*9090, e-mail: [email protected].
• “CPA” – means Consumers Protection Act;
• “PDPA” – means Personal Data Protection Act;
• “POSA” – means Postal Services Act;
• “SITE” – means Web Site located at www.technopolis.bg;
• “ONLINE STORE” – means the virtual store located at www.technopolis.bg, which provides the opportunity to purchase goods over the Internet;
• “USER” – means a person who uses the website’s features;
• “BUYER” – means a person who performs purchase of goods through the online store;
• “CONSUMER” – means a consumer in the meaning of the CPA and Act on the provision of digital content and digital services and on the sale of goods (APDCDSSG);

• “CASH ON DELIVERY” – means cash on delivery pursuant to the POSA;
• “GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS” - means these general terms and conditions.

By clicking on any link, button or application available on the site, with the exception of the link pointing to these terms and conditions, you expressly and unconditionally agrees to these general terms and conditions for using the website and the online store.

Registration

The website can be viewed freely without registration. Registration is required only when using certain features of the website and is absolutely voluntary and free. To register, you need to fill a registration form, which you can find HERE

Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk. Upon successful registration, you will receive a user name and password for entering your profile.

General provisions

Only those goods which the system allows to be added to the shopping cart may be purchased through the online store. All information on goods presented in the website, including, but not limited to technical characteristics, warranty, instructions for use, etc. is provided by the manufacturer, respectively importer of the goods. Technopolis is not responsible in case of false, incorrect or inaccurately presented information, accurate information presented in a misleading way, discrepancies between the presented and the actual situation, misprints.
All warranty periods listed on the website/mobile application, including those for additional/extended warranties and similar, apply only to consumers. Unless otherwise stated, all goods offered on the website/mobile application are intended solely for domestic/household use, which excludes their use for commercial and/or professional purposes.
All pictures shown are for illustration purpose only. Actual product may vary due to product enhancement.

Prices

All payments in Technopolis are made and accepted as follows:

• Until 31.12.2025 - only in Bulgarian leva (BGN).
• In the period 01.01.2026 - 31.01.2026 - both in Bulgarian leva (BGN) and in euro (EUR), with change returned in euro (EUR), except in case of objective impossibility, in which case the change is returned in leva (BGN).

Compliance of goods. Information for consumers. Alternative Dispute Resolution

All goods presented on the website and/or sold through the online store have a guarantee of conformity of goods pursuant to APDCDSSG. The commercial guarantee does not affect the rights of consumers arising from the guarantee of APDCDSSG.

This section refers to persons who are consumers within the meaning of §13, item 1 of the Supplementary Provisions of the CPA and §6, item 6 of the additional provisions of APDCDSSG.

Payment

The price of goods ordered from the online store can be paid using one of the following methods:

1. Cash on delivery
2. Payment by credit/debit card
3. Payment by credit/debit card via Google Pay
4. Payment by credit/debit card via Apple Pay
5. Bank transfer
6. Payment via ePay.bg
7. On credit

Please note that in certain cases, some of the listed methods may not be applicable.
All payments in Technopolis are made and accepted as follows:

• Until 31.12.2025 - only in Bulgarian leva (BGN).
• In the period 01.01.2026 - 31.01.2026 - both in Bulgarian leva (BGN) and in euro (EUR), with change returned in euro (EUR), except in case of objective impossibility, in which case the change is returned in leva (BGN).

Contract

The distance sale contract between Technopolis and the buyer shall be deemed concluded at the time of confirmation of the specific order by Technopolis. Confirmation of a distance sale contract, including of the information under Art. 47, para 1 of the CPA shall be done via the email provided by the buyer.

Purchase on an installment plan from the website/mobile app

Everyone who wishes to purchase goods on an installment plan through the online store/mobile app shall apply for a loan before the financial institutions specified below, if the price of the order (excluding price for processing and delivery) is at the minimum amount of 75 € / 146.69 leva.

The financing institution shall notify the buyer by phone if the desired number of installments needs to be changed. The delivery of goods purchased on an installment plan through the online store shall be effected within 7 (seven) days from the day when Technopolis has been notified by the respective financial institution of a signed loan agreement financing fully the purchase price of the respective order.

Delivery shall be done based on the information (name and personal identification number, address for delivery – work address or current address) indicated by the buyer in the loan agreement he/she signed.

The goods must be received by the buyer upon presenting an ID document, writing out his/her first and last name and signing the document certifying the delivery and acceptance of goods.

Section “Withdrawal from contract and refund of purchase price” shall apply for online purchase on an installment plan as well, with the difference that in the latter case the consumer should make all his/her claims for reimbursement of the price paid directly to the relevant financial institution that financed the online purchase, subject of the withdrawal. For this purpose, the consumer shall send a request to the financial institution, which specifies the bank account in which he/she wishes reimbursement of the amounts claimed. To avoid any doubt, Technopolis Bulgaria EAD will not consider and will not satisfy any monetary claims made by the consumers in case of withdrawal from a distance contract on an installment plan.

Delivery

Goods ordered through the online store are delivered only to addresses in the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria. Goods are received only by signing of a document certifying the delivery and acceptance of goods. Delivery times of goods ordered through the online store are as follows:
1. For goods ordered by 2 p.m. Bulgarian time – up to 3 days from the day following the day on which the order is confirmed.
2. For goods ordered after 2 p.m. Bulgarian time – up to 4 days from the day following the day on which the order is confirmed.
3. For home appliances, the period is 5 days as from the day following the order's confirmation date.

Technopolis reserves its right unilaterally, without informing the buyer, to extend all delivery times by up to 14 days. Goods are delivered against signature, to the entrance of the building. If personal delivery to the recipient is impossible or difficult, the shipments shall be delivered as follows: 1. for business address – to a person, whose place of work is at the address, by indicating the name and position/department of the person receiving the shipment. 2. for home address – to a member of the household, by indicating the name of the person who received the shipment and their relationship with the recipient. In case the order cannot be delivered on first visit, through no fault of Technopolis/the courier (in case no one is present at the address, etc.), the person making the delivery leaves a notice stating the telephone number to which the recipient should call within three working days to fix a new deadline for delivery. In case the order cannot be delivered on the second visit, through no fault of Technopolis/the courier, the distance sale contract is automatically terminated, in which case, as a sanction for the buyer’s fault, Technopolis shall retain all sums paid by the buyer. The provision referred to in the previous sentence also applies in cases where the recipient unreasonably refuses to accept the shipment. Technopolis/the courier is not responsible for failure to deliver when the buyer has provided false, incomplete and/or inaccurate personal data, including when the address given is incomplete, inaccurate or fictitious.

Late Delivery

Goods with status „Late delivery“ can be ordered with a separate order only, where options „Cash on delivery“ and „Credit“ are not available. The goods will be delivered within 60 days from the day following the day of the order confirmation.

Pick up from Store

„Pick up from Store„ provides the possibility of taking the goods ordered through the online store from a chosen Technopolis Hypermarket. Goods can be received after electronic confirmation of the order, depending on the availability, in one of the following ways: „Pick up today„ , „Pick up within 4 days„, „Pick up within 7 days„. In order to benefit from the „Pick up from Store„ option you have to: Order the goods through the online store. Fill in all fields in the order form and indicate a recipient of the goods, as well as the Technopolis Hypermarket from which the goods will be picked up. Pay the goods price, and then receive an electronic confirmation by Technopolis of the order. The goods should be picked up no later than 3 (three) days from the date of the electronic confirmation of the order; the pick-up is to be done only in the working time of the Technopolis Hypermarket indicated in the electronic confirmation; only by the person indicated as a recipient, after presenting an identification document, order number and signing delivery and acceptance slip.

Review of the product. Returns

Upon receipt of the product the buyer is obliged to review it and if he/she finds evident shortcomings, missing accompanying accessories and/or missing documents required by the Bulgarian legislation, he/she shall immediately inform the person making the delivery. Failure in doing so, the product is deemed approved and the buyer loses the right to claim that it was delivered with evident shortcomings, missing accompanying accessories and/or missing documents required by the Bulgarian legislation, at a later date. Returns of purchased through the online store goods are carried under the provisions of the APDCDSSG and Consumer Protection Act (only for consumers) and/or in accordance with the terms and conditions of their commercial warranty. Withdrawal from a distance contract

Pursuant to art. 50 of the CPA, a consumer is entitled to withdraw from the distance contract without stating a reason, without compensation or penalty and without covering any costs, save for the costs provided for in art. 54, par. 3 and art. 55 of the CPA, within 14 days as from the date of: acceptance of the goods by the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer, or when the consumer has ordered in one order many items that are delivered separately – from the date on which the consumer or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by the consumer has accepted the last item.

The right to withdrawal may be only exercised if the consumer has presented to Technopolis: the goods in its original package in perfect condition, all pertaining to the goods accessories, belongings and documents, as well as the original purchase documents (cash receipt/invoice).

In case the right to withdraw from a distance contract has been exercised, the consumer shall send or deliver the goods back to Technopolis no later than 14 days from the day on which the consumer informed Technopolis of his/her decision to withdraw from the contract. The risk of accidental loss or damage is born by the consumer until the goods are delivered back to Technopolis.

Reviews publishing of products

For publishing reviews of products registration is necessary. Review publishing is done by Technopolis, after assessment about the appropriateness / credibility of its contents. Reviews shall be written in Bulgarian and shall contain only the author’s objective opinion regarding the relevant product, which opinion should be based on the direct impressions of the author about the advantages and disadvantages of the product, established in the process of its utilization.

Reviews with a content not corresponding to the above mentioned content, including but not limited to: reviews which are not relevant to the product for which they are published; reviews in which the opinion stated does not belong to the author or they are not based on the author’s direct impressions; reviews containing information about availability / price of the product elsewhere; reviews containing profanity, offensive, obscene, discriminatory and intolerant content, including such based on race, nationality, ethnicity, sex, origin, religion; reviews containing advertising messages and/or information about competitors; reviews whose content is against the professional and commercial ethics, undermines one’s credibility and good reputation, as well as reviews whose content is inappropriate and violates or provides risk of violation of one’s legal rights and interest, will not be published.

Published reviews contain the author’s content, without editing or corrections, and solely express the author’s opinion. Technopolis is not responsible for the content of the published reviews.

Technopolis reserves its right, according to its own discretion, free of liability, without need of any reasoning, not to publish any submitted reviews, regardless of its content.

Technopolis does not guarantee that the published reviews are of users, who actually purchased a product.

Protection of personal data

By accepting these terms and conditions, the user gives his/her express indefinite and unconditional consent, until its explicit written cancellation, his/her personal data to be collected, stored, processed and used by Technopolis and/or by third parties authorized by the company, including but not limited to: courier services companies, banks and others, for the purpose of execution of the distance sale contract and delivery of ordered goods; and in the case of online purchase on an installment plan: in relation with the applying for a loan and the execution of the loan agreement, in relation with marketing and promotional purposes and analyzes of Technopolis, participation in games, promotions and raffles organized by the company and for any other purposes not prohibited by law. The user may at any time receive information whether his/her personal data is being processed and used by Technopolis, and the purposes of processing and use. In addition to the abovementioned, in the cases of online purchase on an installment plan the user gives his/her unlimited, explicit and unconditional consent, until its explicit written cancellation, his/her personal data to be exchanged freely between Technopolis and the financial institution to which the user has applied for a loan, respectively which has granted the loan.

The user is obliged to protect the confidentiality of the user name and password provided to him/her by Technopolis. Every order made through the online store shall be considered regular by Technopolis, if when placing such an order a user name and password accepted by the system as valid were used, regardless of whether they were used by a person other than the holder or by unauthorized person.

Other provisions

Technopolis is committed to providing only the services presented on the site, in the way they are presented. All information presented on this site, including, but not limited to design, availability, prices and location of the goods, is valid only at the time of its presentation. Technopolis reserves the right to change it without notice at any time. It is the user's responsibility to check the website’s terms of use, as well as the information on prices, availability, etc., so that he/she is promptly informed of any changes which may have occurred thereupon. In all cases, the change shall be effective in future and shall not affect orders confirmed by Technopolis prior to its occurrence. In case we need to grant further approval, we shall grant it, otherwise the order shall be considered invalid regardless of our confirmation of said order.

Technopolis is not responsible for the content and safety of the websites referred to by links posted on this website. Clicking on these links and use of websites to which they refer is performed by users of this website entirely at their own risk and responsibility. Where necessary the users of the website are required to accurately and fully provide the data required.

By accepting these general terms and conditions, the user expressly and unconditionally agrees to receive emails containing brochures, information about promotions, games, raffles, etc. on the e-mail address provided for the purposes of registration on this website. Consent under the preceding sentence may be revoked at any time from the menu “Subscription to a newsletter,” accessible from the user account. Access to the resources of the website and the online store will be blocked for incorrect users. Accounts of users who violate the terms of use of the website and the online store, as well as accounts of users who use them for other purposes, will be deleted.

The provisions of the existing Bulgarian legislation shall apply for all issues not settled in these general terms and conditions. Any disputes concerning the interpretation and implementation of these general terms and conditions, and the interpretation and implementation of distance sale contracts for order of goods through the online store will be resolved by an agreement, and in the event of failure to reach an agreement, the dispute will be referred to to the competent court: for consumer claims – according to Art. 113 of the Civil Procedure Code, in all other cases and if the jurisdiction has not been imperatively indicated – to the competent court in the city of Sofia, in accordance with the rules of tribal jurisdiction under the CPC, namely – Sofia District Court and the Sofia city Court.
