The HERTZ CX 690 is a Cento-series coaxial car speaker with a 6x9" elliptical cone and a 40 Hz to 23 kHz frequency range. Its three-way layout pairs the woofer with a 40 mm dome tweeter and a 20 mm supertweeter, running at 4 Ohm and 100 W continuous power.

A 20 mm dome handles the top octave that usually gets lost when speakers fire upward from the rear deck. The tweeter faceplate geometry was refined with FEM simulation, keeping the response linear even well off axis.
SPP-M semi-pressed paper cone with mica
Mica powder balances low mass against internal damping, keeping midrange clean when the volume goes up. A wide rubber surround allows long excursion for solid, controlled bass.
High-density flux ferrite magnet
Low-carbon polar plates cut distortion when the speaker is driven by an amplifier. The metal-finish basket and rubber magnet cover damp spurious vibrations from the assembly.
ABS grille with metal mesh included
Each speaker ships with a protective grille combining high-resistance ABS with a metallic finish and a steel mesh, shielding the cone from cargo and shoes on the rear deck.
