The PIONEER TS-A6971F is a 6"x9" A-Series coaxial car speaker pair built as a direct upgrade over factory speakers. Supplied as a pair with multi-fit mounting adapters, the 4-ohm impedance matches most head units and aftermarket amplifiers.
Four-way design for detail across the range
Each driver combines the woofer with a 57 mm PEI film midrange, an 18 mm tweeter and an 11 mm super tweeter. Vocals and cymbals stay separated from the bass instead of sharing a single cone.
Carbon and mica reinforced IMPP cone for solid bass
The material stays light yet resists deformation at high levels, reaching down to 29 Hz. It also shrugs off the humidity and temperature swings inside a car door.
100 W nominal power and 92 dB sensitivity
The pair plays loud enough straight off the head unit, and handles up to 600 W peak when an amplifier is added. Nominal impedance is 4 ohms.
Multi-fit adapters for factory openings
Included adapter rings cover a range of factory cutouts without custom fabrication. Cutout size is 153 x 222 mm and required mounting depth is about 72.9 mm.
