Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a turn-based RPG for Nintendo Switch that sends the two brothers sailing between the islands of the fractured world of Concordia. The sixth entry in the Mario & Luigi series, it was developed by Acquire and published by Nintendo in November 2024.
Your island ship is home base for the journey
Shipshape Island is both your home and your vessel. Set your course, spot an island, then launch the brothers toward it with a cannon. Every island is different, from dense jungles to lava and ice-covered terrain.
Turn-based battles where timing is everything
Mario is controlled with the A button and Luigi with the B button. Nail your timing to boost the damage of your attacks, and use the same reflexes to dodge or counter enemy strikes. Combined Bros. Attacks deliver the hardest hits in the game.
Battle Plugs let you build your own combat style
Battle Plugs are items that grant extra abilities, such as dropping iron balls for bonus damage or automatically using healing items when your health is low. You can equip several plugs at once and swap them out mid-battle.
