Mario vs. Donkey Kong brings the Game Boy Advance puzzle platformer to Nintendo Switch with refreshed visuals, updated music, two brand-new worlds and Co-Op play. Donkey Kong has swiped every Mini-Mario toy from the factory, and Mario has eight worlds to get them back.

Over 130 puzzle levels across eight worlds

Each stage asks you to read the layout, grab the key and rescue a Mini-Mario while dodging spikes, moving platforms and falling bricks. Some levels have you lead a whole troop of wind-up Mini-Marios safely into their toy box. Every world ends with an arcade-style showdown against Donkey Kong himself.

Classic and Casual Styles for every skill level

Classic Style keeps the timer and the original one-hit rule from the Game Boy Advance game. Casual Style removes the clock, adds checkpoints and lets Mario take up to five hits, which makes it a natural fit for younger players and newcomers to the genre.

Two-player Co-Op as Mario and Toad

A second player can jump in as Toad on the same console and tackle any level together. Some stages change subtly when played as a pair, so you'll need to work out fresh solutions.

New worlds: Merry Mini-Land and Slippery Summit

Alongside familiar spots like Mario Toy Company, Donkey Kong Jungle and Mystic Forest, the Switch version adds an amusement park and a wintry summit, each with its own obstacles. Seasoned players can take on the Plus Worlds, tougher remixes of all eight worlds, plus 16 Expert levels unlocked by earning Perfect ratings. Finish the main game and Time Attack opens up, putting you against the clock.
