SpongeBob, Garfield, the Ninja Turtles and Aang share one arena, plus a roguelike campaign

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 on PS5 is a 2D platform fighter that throws Nickelodeon's best-loved cartoon heroes into battle on stages straight out of their shows. The 2023 sequel comes from developer Fair Play Labs and publisher GameMill Entertainment, rated PEGI 12+.

25 fighters from 17 Nickelodeon shows

Alongside returning favorites like SpongeBob, Patrick, Danny Phantom and Korra, the roster adds newcomers such as Jimmy Neutron, Squidward, Azula, El Tigre, Mecha Plankton and Donatello. Every fighter has a fully reworked moveset, and many are voiced by the actors fans know from the shows.

Roguelike campaign with an original story

In this original story, you set out to stop Danny Phantom's Vlad Plasmius from taking over the multiverse. Each run throws enemy waves, platforming challenges and boss fights at you. Beat a character to unlock them, and spend the currency you collect on perks that carry over to future runs.

Slime Meter and character supers

Land hits to fill the Slime Meter, then spend it to power up attacks, extend your aerial recovery, cancel moves or fire off each character's own super attack. The combat also gains new horizontal attacks, air dodges and dodge rolls.

Online multiplayer with crossplay across 26 stages

Online matches support crossplay, so PS5 players can face opponents on other platforms. Some of the 26 stages come with alternate layouts. For solo play and practice there's Arcade, Boss Rush, minigames and an improved Training mode.
