The AUDIOQUEST Tower 3.5mm Mini to 2x RCA audio cable links any 3.5 mm output to the stereo inputs of an amplifier, receiver or powered speakers. At 1.5 m it comfortably spans a rack shelf or the gap between a laptop and a hi-fi system. Left and right channels run in a single stereo cable.
Solid Long-Grain Copper conductors
The copper has long crystal grains and fewer impurities, and each conductor is solid rather than stranded. That removes strand interaction, a common source of distortion in inexpensive interconnects.
Metal-Layer noise dissipation against RF interference
The system absorbs and reflects high-frequency noise before it reaches the ground layer. Nearby Wi-Fi routers, phones and power supplies stay out of the music.
Foamed-Polyethylene insulation with high air content
Air absorbs virtually no energy and foamed PE releases what little it stores with a benign distortion profile. Dynamic contrasts survive and the soundstage stays focused.
Cold-welded, gold-plated plugs
The connection is formed under high pressure instead of solder, which itself adds distortion. Gold plating keeps the contacts clean through repeated plugging and unplugging.
