The DELONGHI Eletta Ultra ECAM470.85.MB is a fully automatic 3-in-1 machine: espresso, filter coffee and Cold Brew, all from freshly ground beans. It runs a 19 bar pump, holds 1800 ml of water and comes with a milk carafe for automatic frothing, with everything controlled from a 4.3-inch colour touch display organised into drink collections.

The line-up runs from Ristretto Italiano, Doppio+ and Espresso Lungo to Americano, Filter Coffee, Cold Brew, Iced Espresso and Iced Americano. Cold Brew is extracted with cold water at low pressure for a softer, less acidic cup, and six creative recipes come with step-by-step guidance right on screen.

LatteCrema Hot & Cool for dense milk microfoam

The milk carafe froths automatically, hot or cold: Cappuccino, Flat White, Cortado and Latte Macchiato, plus Iced Cappuccino and Cold Brew Latte. Foam density is adjustable per drink and the system rinses itself after every serve.

Silent Technology: up to 65% quieter brewing

The figure is measured against De'Longhi fully automatic machines without the technology. You notice it most on the first cup at dawn or during nap time, when the grinder normally wakes the whole flat.

Bean Adapt Technology dials in the grind for you

Enter the type of beans and the machine sets grind size, dose and brewing temperature itself, straight from the display. Pre-ground coffee is supported too, handy for a decaf without emptying the hopper.
