The Epson EF-21G is a mini laser projector from the EpiqVision range with 3LCD technology, Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and Google TV built in. Point it at a wall, a ceiling or the floor and get a picture of up to 150 inches from under 2.4 m away. Power cable, remote with batteries and documentation are included in the box.
Laser light source rated for 20,000 hours
There is no lamp to replace and no consumable to buy: Epson quotes up to 10 years of home viewing at typical usage. The rating stays the same in High, Medium and Eco modes.
Auto focus and image correction after every move
Switch it on and the projector focuses itself, corrects keystone distortion horizontally and vertically and fits the frame to the available surface while avoiding obstacles. Quick Corner lets you fine-tune each of the four corners by hand.
Two 5 W stereo speakers, plus Bluetooth audio-only mode
Sound comes from the built-in stereo pair, so no separate speaker is needed for a film night. With the light source off, the unit doubles as a Bluetooth speaker, while a headphone output and HDMI ARC handle external audio.
3LCD technology for saturated colour
White and colour light output are equal at 1000 lumens, which Epson rates as up to three times brighter colour than comparable single-chip DLP models. A 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio keeps shadows and dark scenes defined.
