An angled glass front that leaves you headroom over the hob, with touch controls and a Boost setting
The ELICA SHEEN-S BL/A/60 is a 60 cm angled wall-mounted cooker hood with a black tempered glass front and an A energy rating. It moves 495 m3/h at top speed and can either vent outside through a 150 mm outlet or recirculate the air once a carbon filter is fitted.
Three speeds plus Boost up to 650 m3/h
The regular settings deliver 275, 385 and 495 m3/h. When you're frying or a pot boils over, the Boost setting pushes extraction to 650 m3/h. You change speeds on the capacitive touch panel (3S+B) on the front.
Angled front in black tempered glass
Because the body is angled, you get more room above the worktop than with a traditional pyramid hood. It can sit as low as 45 cm above an induction or ceramic hob, or 65 cm above a gas hob. The black decorative chimney comes in the box.
Warm-white 3500 K LED lighting
Two 1.5 W LED lights illuminate the hob on just 3 W combined. Their 3500 K colour temperature gives a neutral warm light, and the lighting is rated energy class A.
Auto-off timer and filter alarm
The timer switches the hood off after a set time, so it can keep clearing odours and steam after you've finished cooking. A warning light tells you when the grease or carbon filter needs cleaning or replacing.
Ducted or recirculating installation
For ducted installation the hood uses a 150 mm outlet, and the non-return valve is included. To recirculate instead, add the Long Life carbon filter (sold separately). It regenerates when washed and lasts up to 3 years. The aluminium grease filter can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher.
