The GoPro MAX2 is a dual-lens 360 action camera shooting True 8K video at 30 fps and 29 MP spherical photos. This bundle adds a 1.2 m extension pole, two 1960 mAh Enduro batteries and a 64 GB SanDisk microSD card, so you can start shooting on day one.

True 8K 360 capture, reframed to 4K

The camera records everything around it, so there is nothing to aim. In the GoPro Quik app you pick the angle after the fact and export a finished Ultra HD clip in a few taps. Footage is H.265 (HEVC) with 10-bit colour and a GP-Log profile for grading.

1.2 m invisible extension pole included

The pole screws onto the 1/4-20 thread on the base of the camera and vanishes from the spherical frame. The result is third-person selfies and drone-like angles from a single pass.

Twist-and-go replaceable glass lenses

Both optical elements twist off by hand in the field and can be swapped when scratched, instead of writing off the camera. The water-repellent coating keeps droplets and flare in check in rain and watersports.

Max HyperSmooth and 360 Horizon Lock

Stabilisation works in both modes and the horizon stays level even if the camera rolls fully during the take. Both the stabilisation level and Horizon Lock can be adjusted after the fact when you reframe the 360 file.

Six microphones plus Bluetooth audio

Audio is captured as 360 stereo with wind-noise reduction, while Audio Field of View follows the frame in single-lens mode. A wireless mic or earbuds pair directly over Bluetooth for interviews and voice commands in noisy places.
