The PIONEER TS-A1671F is a 16.5 cm A-Series coaxial car speaker with three drivers in a single chassis. It ships as a pair, complete with grilles and multi-fit mounting adapters. The cut-out hole is 144 mm and mounting depth is 48 mm.
Three drivers for clear vocals and detail
Alongside the 16.5 cm woofer, the chassis carries a 42 mm cellulose midrange and an 11 mm PET hard-dome tweeter. Splitting the range across three drivers keeps vocals separated from the bass even at higher volume.
Carbon and mica reinforced IMPP cone
The diaphragm is injection-moulded polypropylene reinforced with carbon and mica. It stays light yet shrugs off the humidity and temperature swings inside a car door, where paper cones struggle.
Works with the factory head unit or an amplifier
A 91 dB sensitivity delivers solid output straight from a built-in radio, while 70 W nominal power leaves headroom once you add an amplifier. Impedance is the standard automotive 4 Ω.
