Biomutant for PS5 is an open-world action role-playing game from Swedish studio Experiment 101. Play from a third-person view as a kung-fu fighter in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by mutated animals.

An open world to explore by balloon, jet ski and mech

The map has no loading screens between zones. Besides traveling on foot, you can get around by hot air balloon, jet ski and mech, a combat robot suit. Dynamic weather and the day and night cycle affect how enemies behave.

Gear up for dangerous zones

Some areas require the right equipment. To enter the toxic Deadzone, for example, you need a gas mask or an oxygen tank, and its most remote parts can only be reached with a mech. Upgrade your robot companion to gain an edge against certain enemies.

A character whose looks shape their stats

Height, body shape, fur and teeth are customized separately, and every setting changes your hero's stats. A bulkier character is slower, but deals and takes more damage. Use mutations and level-up points to develop your abilities and unlock new combo attacks.

Karma system and branching story

The Tree of Life is being poisoned, and six tribes are fighting for power: three want to save it, while three see the crisis as a chance to expand. Your choices change how characters react, as well as dialogue and missions. You can ally with one of the tribes or decide the Tree's fate without destroying anyone.
