Sonic Superstars for PlayStation 5 is a 2D platformer from SEGA where Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy race across the Northstar Islands. Their mission: stop Dr. Eggman and Fang before the islands' giant animals are turned into robots.
Up to 4-player co-op throughout the whole campaign
For the first time in the series, you can play the entire story with up to three friends on a single console. Players can jump in and out at any time without interrupting everyone else.
Emerald Powers: new abilities from the Chaos Emeralds
Each of the seven Chaos Emeralds is won in a special stage and unlocks its own power, such as climbing up waterfalls or sending clones after enemies. Switch between powers at any time using a radial menu. Collect all seven and you unlock your hero's super form.
Four heroes with unique skills and 12 zones
Sonic builds speed with a spin dash, Tails flies, Knuckles glides and climbs, and Amy swings her hammer and double jumps. The Northstar Islands span 12 zones with a total of 26 stages. Finish the campaign to unlock Trip, plus a separate campaign starring her.
