SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS for Nintendo Switch is an action platformer from SEGA and Sonic Team that brings two standalone games together. The first is an all-new campaign starring Shadow the Hedgehog. The second is a full remaster of Sonic Generations, featuring both Classic and Modern Sonic.

Doom Powers: Shadow's new abilities

Shadow gains five new powers: Doom Spear, Doom Blast, Doom Morph, Doom Wing and Doom Surf. Use them to glide across water, soar over obstacles and take down bosses in a variety of ways. Chaos Control also returns, letting Shadow freeze time.

A standalone campaign against Black Doom

Shadow's sworn enemy, Black Doom, is back and threatens to take over the world. The story takes Shadow through his own past and iconic stages from his earlier games, twisted by Black Doom's influence. Stages play out in both 3D and 2D.

Sonic Generations with enhanced visuals

Dr. Eggman teams up with his younger self and the mysterious Time Eater to rewrite history. Classic and Modern Sonic join forces across 3D and 2D versions of legendary stages from the series. The remaster delivers refreshed graphics and reworked cutscenes.

Collectibles and bonus content

Hidden in every stage are Chao waiting to be rescued. Casino Nights Zone features a pinball table with a score-based ranking. The museum gathers concept art, music and behind-the-scenes material from the making of the game.
