The STAGG CTU-C3 clip-on tuner attaches to your headstock and tunes by sensing the instrument's vibration, with no cable or microphone needed. It covers guitar, bass, ukulele and violin, and auto power-off preserves the supplied CR2032 battery.
Piezo vibration sensor instead of a microphone
Pitch is picked up straight through the instrument body, so stage and rehearsal noise does not affect the reading. Chromatic mode accepts any note, while dedicated guitar, bass, violin and C-tuned ukulele modes point you to the right string.
±1 cent accuracy across B0 to B7
Calibration is fixed at 440 Hz, the reference used in bands, orchestras and music lessons. Tuning is automatic, with no manual string selection.
LCD display with two-colour backlight
The backlight colour signals when the note is locked in, readable even on a dimly lit stage. The rotating clip pad lets you angle the screen comfortably on a headstock or any flat surface.
22 g weight that lives in your gig bag
At 3 x 4.5 x 5 cm it fits in the accessory pocket next to your picks. Automatic power-off means you never have to remember to switch it off.
