The ELICA Ikona Light IX/F/60 is a 60 cm stainless steel island hood that hangs above the hob like a pendant light. It runs in recirculation mode with a carbon filter, so it fits kitchens with no flue or exhaust duct.
Pyramid design that floats above the island
Fabrizio Crisà designed it for ELICA in the shape of a classic chandelier. The stainless steel body hangs from the ceiling with no wall or cabinet behind it, so the hood becomes the centrepiece of an island kitchen.
Recirculation with a carbon filter, no ducting
The F version is recirculation-only. Air passes through an aluminium grease filter and a carbon filter, then returns clean to the kitchen. A carbon filter comes in the box, and you can swap it for the regenerable Long Life filter, which lasts up to 3 years.
Touch controls with 3 speeds plus intensive boost
The touch panel sits on the front at a slight angle, so you can set the light and fan speed from where you cook. Top speed moves 475 m³/h, and the intensive boost briefly raises it to 605 m³/h. A warning light tells you when the filters need washing or replacing.
LED strip with warm light over the hob
A 7 W LED strip gives warm white 3500 K light and 365 lux on the worktop. The hood is energy class A, uses 49 kWh a year and also rates class A for lighting efficiency.
