The Brother HL-L3220CW is an A4 color laser printer built on electrophotographic LED print technology, with wireless connectivity and USB 2.0. A 250-sheet paper tray plus a dedicated manual feed slot handle everyday office document flow, with a recommended monthly duty cycle of up to 3000 pages. The box includes starter toners good for around 1000 pages, a drum unit, a belt unit, and a waste toner box.
18 ppm color printing with no slowdown
The first page appears in as little as 15 seconds. Resolution up to 600 x 2400 dpi keeps small text and thin lines in tables and graphics crisp and legible.
Wi-Fi 2.4 & 5 GHz + printing straight from your phone
The printer also connects on the 5 GHz band, where channels tend to be less crowded with other devices. Print from your smartphone or tablet via the Brother Mobile Connect app, AirPrint, or Mopria, and use Wi-Fi Direct to connect without a router.
Quiet Mode for shared office spaces
In this mode, sound pressure during printing drops to around 43 dB(A), compared to about 46 dB(A) in standard mode, as measured per ISO 7779.
TN248 and TN248XL toners with individual color cartridges
Each color is replaced separately, so running out of magenta won't stop your black-and-white printing. The high-yield TN248XL delivers up to 3000 black pages and up to 2300 pages per color, while the DR248CL drum unit lasts for around 20,000 pages.
Document security with Secure Print and Secure Function Lock
Print jobs are held in memory and released only after a 4-digit code is entered on the panel — ideal for shared office equipment. Feature access can be managed for up to 100 users, and network communication supports SSL/TLS, SNMP v3, and IEEE 802.1x.
