The CLAGE DCX 12 Next L is a single-phase 230 V electric instantaneous water heater that warms water as it flows, delivering up to 5.9 l/min at a 28 K temperature rise. It serves a handwashbasin, kitchen sink or shower, and its compact 46.8 x 23.9 x 9.6 cm body mounts vertically on the wall. Control runs through an LED display with sensor keys and two stored temperatures.

The two memory keys arrive preset at 38 °C and 42 °C, and both values can be reassigned to suit the household. Electronic control holds the chosen temperature even when mains water pressure changes. A service menu lets the installer set and read out operating parameters.

The MPS system lets the heater be matched to the electrical installation: the lower setting draws 38.3 A rated current, the higher one 50 A. Supply is single-phase 220–240 V AC via a permanent connection with a 10 mm² cable.
IES bare wire heating system
Water is heated directly by exposed heating coils, with no sheath for limescale to build up on. The design reacts instantly to changes in flow and stays easy to service. Electronic protection watches for air bubbles and shuts the unit down on temperature or pressure faults.
Works with water-saving fittings from 1.5 l/min
The heater starts at a low flow rate, so aerators and economical shower heads pose no problem. Being solar-ready, it accepts preheated inlet water up to 70 °C and tops it up only as far as the set value when the solar system falls short.
