The CLAGE DEX 12 Next instantaneous water heater heats water on demand, with no tank and no standby losses. It serves a washbasin, kitchen sink or shower and connects permanently to a single-phase 220–240 V supply. Control is fully electronic, with sensor keys and a real-glass display.
TTC® holds your set temperature to the degree
The electronics track the incoming water and adjust output continuously, keeping the outlet temperature steady even when pressure changes. Between 35 °C and 43 °C the setting moves in 0.5-degree steps.
MPS® sets the power level at installation: 8.8 or 11.5 kW
The installer matches the unit to the available supply; nominal current is 38.3 A or 50.0 A at 230 V. Hot water output at a 28 K rise is 4.5 l/min on the lower setting and 5.9 l/min on the higher one.
Works with water-saving taps from 1.5 l/min
Heating starts at that low flow thanks to the unit's water flow technology. Maximum flow is limited to 5.0 l/min for an optimal temperature rise.
IES® bare-wire element: less limescale build-up
The bare-wire element transfers heat directly to the water, extending service life and simplifying maintenance. The heating channel layout makes the system practically insensitive to air in the pipework.
Safety system with air-bubble detection, temperature and pressure cut-off
The electronic safety system monitors conditions and cuts heating if anything deviates. The housing is rated IP 25 and inlet temperature may reach 70 °C, so the unit can reheat pre-warmed water from a solar system.
Smartphone and tablet control via the Smart Control app
Connection requires the separately available FXE 3 radio adapter. The app runs on iOS 9 and Android 4.4 or later, and a radio remote control module is offered as an accessory.
