The THUNDER TCA-2087 is a two-channel car amplifier for upgrading a factory audio system. It drives 2 to 4 Ohm speakers and covers a 10 Hz to 30 kHz frequency range, protected by a single 30 A fuse.
2 x 80 W RMS at 4 Ohm for clean volume
Into a 2 Ohm load the amplifier delivers 2 x 130 W, and bridged it feeds a subwoofer with 1 x 260 W. A signal-to-noise ratio above 90 dB and under 0.15% distortion keep the detail even at high volume.
Bass boost and crossover filters for tuning
Adjustable bass boost from 0 to 12 dB compensates for the thin low end of factory speakers. Input sensitivity of 200 mV to 8 V suits both an OEM head unit and an aftermarket source with a hot output.
Compact chassis for under-seat mounting
At 300 x 190 x 48 mm and 2.60 kg, the unit leaves the boot free. The low profile allows mounting to the floor, a side panel or the back of a seat.
