The ELICA ENTER BL MAT/A/52 is a fully integrated cooker hood that fits inside a wall cabinet, with a 51.4 cm wide front. The motor, filters and lighting sit behind a black panel, and the intensive setting moves up to 650 m3/h.
Perimeter extraction behind a solid panel
Air is drawn in through a narrow slot running around the edge of the panel, while the grease filters stay out of sight behind it. The narrow gap speeds up the airflow, so the hood also catches steam rising from the sides of the pan. Magnets hold the front of the panel and hinges hold the back, so you can reach the filters without any tools.
Three speeds plus an intensive setting up to 650 m3/h
Airflow ranges from 255 m3/h on the first speed to 550 m3/h on the highest. For frying, the intensive setting delivers 650 m3/h and drops back to speed two on its own after 5 minutes. Electronic push buttons control the hood, which runs on a 250 W motor.
Delayed switch-off timer and filter alerts
Delay Switch Off keeps the hood running for another 5 to 20 minutes after you finish cooking, depending on the speed, and then turns it off. This clears moisture and odours without you having to stay in the kitchen. An indicator tells you when the metal grease filters need cleaning, and they can go in the dishwasher.
Ducted to the outside or recirculating with a carbon filter
By default, air is ducted outside through a 150 mm outlet. If your kitchen has no vent duct, the hood can switch to recirculation using CFC0140343 carbon filters or CFC0162221 Long Life filters. These are not in the box and are sold separately.
7 W LED strip over the worktop
The built-in LED strip lights the worktop at 365 lx with a 3500 K colour temperature, which sits between warm and neutral white. Its lighting efficiency is rated class A.
