The Polk Audio Monitor XT70 is the flagship floor-standing model of the Monitor XT line, supplied here as a pair in black. Each cabinet pairs two 6.5" Dynamic Balance woofers with two 8" passive bass radiators and a 1" Terylene dome tweeter, with response starting at 35 Hz. At 89 dB sensitivity and compatible with 4- and 8-ohm outputs, it works with everyday AV receivers and stereo amps rated 25–200 W per channel.

Bass from 35 Hz with dual passive radiators

Two 6.5" bi-laminate woofers handle the midrange and punch, while the 8" passive radiators extend the low end far enough that music needs no separate subwoofer. The 2700 Hz crossover keeps voices and instruments within one driver instead of splitting them.

Hi-Res Audio certified tweeter up to 40 kHz

The Terylene dome runs on a low-resonance ceramic motor and resolves the detail in high-resolution files from Tidal, Qobuz, Apple Music and Amazon Music HD. Highs stay clean and airy even at higher listening levels.

Dolby Atmos certified, DTS:X compatible

The pair drops into current surround AV receivers with no specialised gear and takes the front-channel role in a home cinema. For overhead effects add the Monitor XT90 height module, sold separately; the XT20 and XT30 cover centre and surround duties.
