The CLAGE CEX 9-U instantaneous water heater heats water exactly when it is drawn and fits inside the cabinet under the sink. Electronic control holds the set temperature anywhere between 20 °C and 55 °C, while the IES bare-wire heating system limits limescale build-up. A connection set for an angle valve (T-piece and flexible pressure hose) and a power cable for permanent connection are supplied.
Steady temperature without mixing in cold water
TWIN TEMPERATURE control TTC monitors flow and inlet temperature and adjusts heating output in real time. Between 35 °C and 43 °C the setting moves in 0.5-degree steps via the touch buttons, and two programming keys store preferred temperatures.
Multiple Power System MPS matches the home's wiring
During installation the fitter selects the upper limit to suit the fuse box and cable cross-section. At the higher setting the unit delivers 3.8 l/min at a 33 K temperature rise, at the lower one 2.9 l/min.
IES bare-wire heating element resists limescale
The heating wire sits directly in the water, so there is no hot metal sheath for lime to settle on. Output stays consistent over the years and the heater responds instantly when the tap opens.
Compact 29.4 x 17.7 x 10.4 cm body for the sink cabinet
Solar-ready with inlet temperature up to 60 °C
Pre-heated water is accepted and topped up only to the set value. The heater works alongside a solar collector or another pre-heating source.
Smartphone control with the FXE3 (C) adapter
With the FXE3 (C) radio adapter and the Smart Control app the temperature is set from a tablet or phone (from iOS 9 / Android 4.4). The adapter and the radio remote are supplied separately.
