The JBL Quantum 100M2 White is a wired over-ear gaming headset built around 40 mm dynamic drivers and JBL QuantumSOUND Signature tuning. A single 4-pole 3.5 mm jack connects it to PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, mobile, Mac and VR, and the boom mic detaches for music-only listening.
JBL QuantumSOUND Signature for in-game positioning
The tuning is developed for game audio: footsteps, reloads and gunfire directions stay distinct while explosions keep their weight. The headset also works with Windows Sonic Spatial Sound on Windows 10 PCs and Xbox consoles, with no extra hardware required.
Detachable directional boom mic with mute
The mic picks up your voice from the front and rejects sound from the sides, and a foam windshield in the box tames plosives. Muting happens on the headset itself, so you can drop out of chat without leaving the game.
Breathable fabric ear cushions with memory foam
The memory foam takes the shape of your head, while the fabric cover breathes better than leatherette over a long session. Total weight is 220 g and the headband spreads pressure evenly.
One cable for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch
The 1.2 m cable ends in a 4-pole 3.5 mm jack — long enough for a controller in hand or a laptop and phone socket. Volume control sits on the ear cup, with no software or drivers involved.
