The Li-Ion cell powers the frugal S30+ platform with no mobile data draining it, stretching the time between charges. Charging uses a reversible Type-C cable, the same as on most new devices; a wall adapter is not included.

Radio and music playback work with no internet connection at all, and the built-in games fill idle minutes. The 2-inch (5.08 cm) screen runs at 120x160 pixels and shows large, legible dialling digits.
