The HUAWEI Mate X7 in Black is a book-style foldable with an 8-inch LTPO OLED inner display and a 6.49-inch cover screen that works like a regular phone. This configuration pairs 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of storage, a 50+40+50 MP triple camera and IP58/IP59 protection.
Two LTPO OLED screens with adaptive 1–120 Hz
The inner panel peaks at 2,500 nits with a 2416 × 2210 px resolution, while the cover screen reaches 3,000 nits behind Kunlun Glass 2. High-frequency 1,440 Hz PWM dimming keeps long reading sessions in the dark easier on the eyes.
Triple camera with variable F1.49–F4.0 aperture
The 50 MP main sensor uses an RYYB matrix and optical stabilisation for low-light shots, while the 50 MP periscope telephoto delivers 3.5x optical zoom plus macro framing. The ultra-wide module is 40 MP with a 120° field of view.
66 W wired and 50 W wireless charging
The phone also supports 7.5 W reverse wireless charging for earbuds or a watch. Battery capacity is 5,600 mAh typical, with a 5,470 mAh rated figure.
IP58/IP59 protection and an aluminium frame
The body survives immersion at up to 2 m for 30 minutes and even a jet of hot pressurised water, which is unusual among foldables. The frame is aerospace-grade aluminium and the back is finished in eco leather.
Kirin 9030 Pro, 16 GB RAM and Wi-Fi 7
The nine-core chipset teams up with Maleoon 935 graphics and 512 GB of UFS storage, while EMUI 15 keeps several apps side by side on the large screen. Connectivity covers 2×2 MIMO Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC payments.
