The ALPINE SBG-1224BP is a 12-inch car subwoofer pre-installed in a sealed MDF band-pass enclosure. Internal wiring is done at the factory, so hooking it up to an amplifier takes only the side terminals. It runs at 2 Ohms with 250 W rated power.
Band-pass cabinet for deep, punchy bass
The cabinet is a band-pass design: the driver radiates through a port that reinforces the lowest octaves. Response starts at 28 Hz and sensitivity of 90 dB means solid output even from a mid-range amplifier.
Acrylic windows with blue illumination
Windows on the top and side panels reveal the driver, while integrated blue lighting makes the boot install stand out after dark.
Complete kit, no custom box needed
The Type-G driver is fitted and wired at the factory, so you only run a cable from the amplifier to the side terminals. The fully enclosed housing shields the cone from luggage sliding around in the boot.
