The HERTZ DT 24.3 is a 24 mm, 4 ohm car audio tweeter from the Dieci series. Covering 3,000 to 23,000 Hz, it restores the top end that factory door speakers usually miss. With just 20 mm of mounting depth, it fits tight dash pods and A-pillar locations.
PEI dome for natural, fatigue-free highs
The diaphragm is moulded from PEI, a light polymer that keeps its shape through summer heat inside a car. Cymbals and vocal detail stay clean over long listening sessions.
Neodymium motor rated at 94 dB sensitivity
The optimised neodymium motor delivers high output even from a head unit's built-in amplifier. Its compact size is what keeps overall depth down to 20 mm.
Hi-pass crossover from 3.5 kHz
The 6 dB/octave high-pass filter keeps low frequencies away from the small dome. Power handling is 40 W RMS and 80 W peak per tweeter.
Three mounting options in the cabin
Hertz supplies a flush cup, a double-angle surface cup and a gasket for the DT 24.3. Aiming the domes towards the listeners sharpens the stereo image when mounted on the A-pillars.
