The TOSHIBA RAS-B13G3KVSGB-E/RAS-13J2AVS inverter air conditioner from the EDGE Black range is a 13,000 BTU/h wall-mounted split system for rooms of roughly 25–30 m². It is rated A+++ for both cooling and heating in the average climate zone, runs on R32 refrigerant and includes a built-in Wi-Fi module for the Toshiba Home AC Control app. The set comprises indoor and outdoor unit plus remote control, and is listed with standard installation included.
A+++ in both cooling and heating
Seasonal efficiency stands at SEER 8.6 and SCOP 5.1 for the average climate zone, with 3.5 kW rated cooling and 4.2 kW rated heating capacity. Rated power input is 0.900 kW in cooling and 1.080 kW in heating.
Heating at outdoor temperatures down to -15 °C
The outdoor unit works from -15 °C to +24 °C in heating and up to +46 °C in cooling. The 8 °C heating mode holds the room at roughly 5–13 °C with minimal energy use, while On Demand Defrost lets you trigger defrosting of the outdoor unit manually in harsh winter conditions.
Quiet mode at 19 dB(A) sound pressure
The indoor unit measures 43 dB(A) sound pressure at high fan speed. In Silent mode the outdoor unit drops to 37 dB(A) sound pressure in cooling, which matters when balconies are close together or a bedroom faces the unit.
Ultra Pure Filter captures up to 94% of PM2.5
The filter traps dust, allergens and odours, while the antibacterial treatment limits microbial growth. Self-cleaning keeps the fan running for 20–30 minutes after shutdown to dry the heat exchanger and prevent mould and stale smells.
Wi-Fi control and voice commands
The built-in wireless adapter links the unit to the Toshiba Home AC Control app for mode settings and real-time energy monitoring. Voice control through Google Home and Amazon Alexa is also supported.
HADA Care Flow and Fireplace mode
HADA Care Flow directs the airflow indirectly and evens out temperature up to 7 metres from the unit, with no draught on the body. Fireplace mode switches off the compressor and runs the fan at low speed to spread heat from a fireplace or other heat source.
