The TOSHIBA YUKAI RAS-18E2KVG-E/RAS-18E2AVG-E is an 18000 BTU wall-mounted inverter split system rated at 5.0 kW for cooling and 5.4 kW for heating. It is sized for rooms of up to around 35 m², such as a living room or an open-plan kitchen and lounge.
Year-round operation from -15 °C to +46 °C
In cooling mode the outdoor unit runs in temperatures from -15 °C to +46 °C. In heating mode its range is -15 °C to +24 °C, so the air conditioner can also take care of winter heating. Rated heating output is 5.4 kW from 1.5 kW of input power.
A++ energy class for cooling, A+ for heating
Seasonal ratings are SEER 7.0 and SCOP 4.4, with SCOP declared for the average climate zone. According to the energy label, annual consumption is 250 kWh for cooling and 1209 kWh for heating.
Magic Coil self-cleaning and Ultra Fresh filter
After the unit is switched off, the indoor fan keeps running for a while to dry the heat exchanger, so moisture does not linger and microorganisms cannot build up. The Ultra Fresh filter captures 85% of fine airborne particles and helps neutralise odours.
Quiet indoor unit from 26 dB
The indoor unit runs at 26 dB on its lowest fan speed and up to 47 dB at full speed. Auto restart brings back your last settings after a power cut.
R32 refrigerant and a compact indoor unit
The system runs on R32, a refrigerant with lower global warming potential than older types. The indoor unit measures 798 x 293 x 230 mm and weighs 9 kg, with clean lines and white LED indicators.
