The TOSHIBA RAS-B13J2FVG-E / RAS-13J2AVSG-E1 Bi-Flow inverter air conditioner is a console model for floor or low-wall installation — under a window sill, in a room with a sloping ceiling or in a loft. It delivers 3.50 kW cooling and 4.20 kW heating with R32 refrigerant, and the set comprises the indoor unit, the outdoor unit and a wireless remote control.
Dual air outlets with selectable direction
The Bi-Flow diffuser has an opening at the top and at the bottom of the front panel, and you select the outlet to suit the season and the furniture around it. Floor-heating mode directs warm air low, along the floor, for an even room temperature.
Compact 600 mm-high body for under-window installation
The indoor unit measures 600 x 700 x 220 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 16 kg, so it fits where a high-wall unit cannot go. Flare connections are 3/8" – 1/4", with a pipe run from 2 to 20 m.
A++ in both cooling and heating
The seasonal SEER is 7.0 in cooling and SCOP 4.7 in heating for the average climate zone, rising to SCOP 6.5 (class A+++) in the warmer zone. Annual cooling consumption is 174 kWh.
Operation at outdoor temperatures down as far as -15 °C
The cooling range runs from -15 °C to +46 °C and the heating range from -15 °C to +24 °C. On Demand Defrost starts outdoor-unit defrosting at the press of a button, while the 8 °C mode keeps a minimum temperature in an unoccupied room through winter.
Quiet operation at 24 dB(A) plus Silent CDU mode
At low fan speed the indoor unit's sound pressure is 24 dB(A), with 53 dB(A) sound power at high speed. Silent CDU lowers outdoor-unit noise, which matters when it is mounted near a neighbouring balcony or a bedroom.
Fireplace mode and weekly timer on the remote
Fireplace mode keeps the indoor fan running at low speed even with the compressor off, spreading heat from a fireplace or radiator around the room. The weekly timer holds four programmes per day, and the unit also offers Power Select, Comfort Sleep, ECO, Hi-Power, self-cleaning, child lock and a Magic Coil heat-exchanger coating.
