The Hertz DCX 690.3 from the Dieci series is a 6x9" coaxial car speaker set built as a direct upgrade over factory sound. Its three-way layout combines a woofer, a 60 mm midrange and a 15 mm PEI dome supertweeter, reaching down to 45 Hz. Grilles are included in the box.
Three-way design covers the full musical spectrum
A dedicated 60 mm midrange handles vocals and instruments, while the 15 mm PEI dome supertweeter adds the top-end air. Splitting the work between three drivers widens dispersion and sharpens imaging inside the cabin.
93 dB sensitivity: loud output even from the stock head unit
High efficiency means the set plays convincingly without an external amplifier. When one is fitted, each speaker takes 90 W continuous and 180 W peak.
Water-repellent paper cone with TPU surround
The pressed paper cone is treated to repel moisture and the surround is TPU, a pairing that copes with the humidity and temperature swings of a car interior. The high-density flux ferrite magnet measures 80 x 40 x 15 mm.
98 mm mounting depth with grilles supplied
Overall frame size is 237 x 162 mm with a 224 x 153 mm cut-out, matching common 6x9" rear-deck locations. Impedance is 4 ohm and each speaker weighs 0.95 kg.
