The PIONEER TS-A30S4 is a 30 cm A-Series component car subwoofer with a single voice coil and 4 Ω impedance. It handles 400 W nominal and up to 1400 W maximum input power and works best in an enclosure of roughly 35.4 l. A grille is not included.
IMPP cone for tight, accurate bass
The cone is injection-moulded polypropylene reinforced with glass fibre and mica. The material stays rigid at high output and keeps its shape through long sessions in a car cabin, where heat and vibration are constant.
400 W nominal power at 4 Ω
The single 4 Ω voice coil connects easily to a monoblock amplifier or a bridged channel of a standard four-channel amp. Peaks are handled up to 1400 W, leaving headroom for dynamic passages.
Fits a 35.4 l enclosure with a 281 mm cut-out
The basket measures 318 mm across with a 136 mm depth. The recommended volume applies to a sealed box, and the 3.55 kg weight keeps mounting simple even on thinner boot panels.
Elastic polymer surround and polycotton spider
The suspension allows around ±8 mm of linear excursion, keeping cone movement controlled even down around 30 Hz. The ferrite magnet holds a stable field through long listening sessions.
