The PIONEER TS-G1720F is a 17 cm 2-Way coaxial car speaker from the G-Series, designed to drop into the standard door openings of most vehicles. It handles 40 W nominal and up to 300 W peak power at 4 ohms, and ships with grilles and mounting hardware.
Frequency response from 36 Hz for solid bass
The upper limit reaches 18,000 Hz, keeping vocals and cymbals crisp even at motorway speeds. The IMPP composite polypropylene cone holds its shape under hard bass hits and shrugs off the humidity inside a car door.
50 mm mounting depth, 144 mm cut-out
The basket uses a multi-bolt pattern that lines up with a range of factory mounting layouts. Overall diameter is 178 mm and each speaker weighs just 0.59 kg, so the door card carries no real extra load.
Ferrite magnet and 4 ohms for factory head units
A 4-ohm load is the standard every car stereo and amplifier is built for. Grilles are included, so the speakers can also be fitted where no original trim cover exists.
