The JBL Stage 280F floorstanding speaker is the flagship of the JBL Stage 2 series, here in the Latte white woodgrain finish. Its 33 Hz to 25 kHz range covers deep cinematic bass and airy highs, while 91 dB sensitivity suits amplifiers rated from 20 to 225 W. Sold individually, so you can build a stereo pair or the front channels of a 5.1 home cinema.
Dual 8-inch ribbed Polycellulose cone woofers
The cones use a pure pulp blend with added materials for extra rigidity, and their ribbed surface echoes classic JBL designs. Bass reaching 33 Hz can be felt as well as heard, so a mid-sized room rarely needs a separate subwoofer.
Next-generation HDI waveguide for precise imaging
A 25 mm anodised aluminium dome tweeter sits in JBL's patented High-Definition Imaging geometry. The complex profile directs highs toward the listening area and keeps tonal balance even off-axis, so seats away from the sweet spot still sound right.
Dolby Atmos ready with the JBL Stage 240H module
Dedicated 5-way binding posts at the top and bottom accept the 240H height module and route the cable inside the cabinet for a clean look. A supplied cover closes the Atmos terminals when they are not in use.
Rear-firing flared racetrack bass reflex ports
Two oval, flared ports slow the exiting airflow and eliminate chuffing during heavy bass passages. Their rear placement calls for some breathing room from the wall when positioning the speaker.
Magnetic grilles and floating front baffle in Latte white
The grilles attach magnetically with no visible mounting holes, while trim rings around the drivers and the floating baffle add visual depth. The Latte woodgrain with a matching white front blends into light interiors.
