The CANDY CY-09RAIN-A/CY-09RAOUT-A inverter air conditioner is a 9000 BTU/h wall-mounted split system sized for rooms of around 20 m². It runs on R32 refrigerant and covers cooling, heating, dehumidifying and fan modes, with indoor unit, outdoor unit and infrared remote in the box.
Heating down at outdoor temperatures to -20 °C
Rated heating output is 2.900 kW with 0.780 kW power input. The cooling operating range spans -20 °C to +43 °C, so the unit works year-round as the main heat source in a room or small office.
A++ energy class in cooling
Seasonal efficiency of SEER 6.5 and SCOP 4.0 for the average climate zone corresponds to A++ in cooling and A+ in heating. The inverter compressor holds the set temperature by modulating speed instead of switching on and off.
Wi-Fi control from your smartphone
The built-in Wi-Fi module lets you switch the unit on, change modes and set the temperature remotely, before you get home. Auto restart brings back the last settings after a power cut.
Antibacterial filter and indoor-unit self-clean
The self-clean and sterilise function dries the evaporator after operation and limits moisture build-up and odours. The filter slides out for rinsing, while 550 m³/h of airflow keeps air moving across the whole room.
Quiet operation from 19 dB at night
At the lowest fan speed the indoor unit is barely audible and will not disturb sleep in a bedroom or nursery. The casing measures 199 mm high and 292 mm deep, fitting neatly above a door or window.
