The HAIER ES50V-B2(B) is a 50 L vertical storage water heater with an enamelled tank and mechanical thermostat. At just 36.0 cm in diameter and 81.80 cm tall, it slots into service cupboards and recesses that will not take a standard cylinder.
Three-layer enamel lining against corrosion
The tank interior is treated with a three-pass enamel process. The lining keeps aggressive tap water away from the steel wall and preserves water quality between heating cycles.
Oversized magnesium anode for longer tank life
The anode rod draws corrosion to itself instead of the tank walls and is larger than the rods used in conventional heaters. The manufacturer states this extends tank life by more than 40%.
Shock Proof protection against current leakage
Haier's patented technology keeps the unit safe to use even if current leaks. An overheat sensor shuts the element down above the set limit, while overpressure protection prevents the heater from switching on with an empty tank.
Mechanical thermostat and single-phase supply
You set the temperature with a rotary knob, with no menus or electronics involved. The heater runs on a standard single-phase circuit, and polyurethane insulation holds the heat between cycles.
