The TESY CTV 804430 B12 TSR storage water heater from the SimpatEco range is wall mounted in vertical position and built around a 44 cm glass-ceramic lined tank. Control is mechanical with stepless temperature setting and BiLight indication of the current mode, while the heating element is copper.
PISTON Effect for more hot water
A special inlet nozzle keeps incoming cold water at the bottom of the tank and gently pushes the hot layer upwards instead of mixing it. Usable hot water rises by up to 15%, with 100 L available at 40 °C.
Heats to 60 °C in 1 h 19 min
Rated power is 3000 W on single-phase supply. This is the highest output commonly offered on domestic electric water heaters and allows a reheat between two showers.
INSUTECH insulation with low heat loss
The insulation is developed by TESY and holds the water temperature longer between heating cycles. Energy class is C for the M tapping profile.
Glass-ceramic lined tank with anode protection
The tank lining stands up to hard tap water, while the magnesium anode takes on the corrosion load. Working pressure is 0.8 MPa.
BiLight indication and mechanical thermostat
The indicator glows red while heating and blue when the water is ready. Temperature is set with a rotary knob and a switch cuts power to the element completely.
