The THUNDER TCA-2157 is a two-channel car amplifier rated at 2 x 150 W RMS into 4 Ohm and stable with 2 to 4 Ohm loads. Its 10 Hz - 30 kHz bandwidth covers deep bass and treble alike, while bridge mode combines both channels to drive a subwoofer.
Bridge mode for a subwoofer
Both channels combine into a single 1 x 480 W RMS output at 4 Ohm. Wired in stereo at 2 Ohm the amplifier delivers 2 x 240 W RMS, leaving headroom for demanding speakers.
Bass boost up to 12 dB at 45 Hz
The control adds 0 ~ 12 dB where the recording or the cabin needs more low end. A signal-to-noise ratio above 90 dB and 0.15% distortion keep playback clean as the level rises.
Built-in protection with two 30 A fuses
The power section is protected by 2 x 30 A fuses. Input sensitivity of 0.2 ~ 5.0 V allows hookup to both factory and aftermarket head units.
