The CLAGE DBX 18 NEXT instantaneous water heater warms water electronically as it flows, serving a washbasin, kitchen sink, shower or bath tub. The compact 46.6 cm housing mounts on the wall above or below the basin and runs on a 400 V three-phase supply. Energy class A with 485 kWh annual consumption.
18 kW delivers 9.2 l/min of hot water
That flow covers a comfortable shower, raising water from roughly 12 °C to 40 °C. Maximum throughput is capped at 7.0 l/min so the outlet temperature stays steady even when the tap is opened wide.
Switches on from just 1.5 l/min
The flow sensor starts heating at a very low draw, which suits handwashing and water-saving fittings. You get warm water without waiting and without preheating a storage tank.
No user controls on the housing
This entry model of the e-comfort range works fully automatically, with the outlet temperature set during installation. Leaving out the control panel keeps the price down and daily use simple.
IP 25 protection and 4.2 kg filled with water
The enclosure is protected against water jets, so it can be installed right next to a basin or shower. Water connections are G ½" threaded, with a maximum operating pressure of 1 MPa (10 bar).
400 V three-phase supply drawing 26 A
The unit uses a permanent connection with a 4.0 mm² cable, to be wired by a qualified electrician. Maximum inlet temperature is 30 °C, so it also copes with a pre-warmed supply line.
