The CLAGE DBX 21 NEXT instantaneous water heater warms water as it flows, supplying a bathroom, shower and kitchen sink from a single unit. Its electronics track flow rate and inlet temperature to hold the outlet temperature, factory set at 50 °C. It runs on a 400 V three-phase supply and takes up just 46.6 x 23.0 x 9.7 cm of wall space.
21 kW for bathroom and kitchen alike
The heater delivers 10.7 l/min at a 28 K temperature rise, for example from 12 °C to 40 °C. That covers a full shower, and at lower draw-off it serves a second tap as well.
Switches on from just 1.5 l/min
The hydraulics respond even to a light trickle, the kind used for washing hands. Maximum flow is capped at 8.0 l/min to keep the temperature rise stable.
IES bare-wire heating system
Limescale build-up stays low and servicing is straightforward. A redesigned heating channel layout makes the system resistant to trapped air, while the electronic safety circuit shuts the unit down on air bubbles, over-temperature or over-pressure.
Outlet temperature adjustable from 30 °C to 60 °C
The casing carries no user controls; the value is set inside the unit by the installer. Leaving out the panel keeps the price down and daily use simple, as the temperature holds steady however far the tap is opened.
Energy class A, 483 kWh per year
Water is heated only while it flows, so the standby losses of a full storage tank disappear. The unit weighs about 4.2 kg filled with water and mounts on the wall even in tight utility spaces.
