The CLAGE CEX9 NEW instantaneous water heater warms water on demand at the point of use: kitchen sink, washbasin or shower. It runs on a single-phase 220–240 V supply, with the maximum output set during installation to either 6.6 or 8.8 kW. At 29.4 cm high, the unit fits under a worktop or into a narrow recess.
Precise temperature from 20 °C to 55 °C
TTC® twin temperature control monitors inlet and outlet water and holds the set value when pressure changes. Between 35 °C and 43 °C the step is 0.5 °C, and two programming buttons store your preferred settings.
MPS®: power rating chosen at installation
The installer selects 6.6 kW or 8.8 kW to match the existing wiring; nominal current and cable cross-section (4 or 6 mm²) follow from that choice. At 8.8 kW the unit delivers 3.8 l/min of hot water at a 33 K temperature rise.
IES® bare-wire heating with less scale build-up
The bare heating wire transfers heat directly to the water and reduces limescale deposits on the element. With a nominal volume of just 0.4 l, hot water arrives within seconds.
Pressurised installation with G ½" connections
External G ½" threaded connections and an operating pressure of up to 1 MPa (10 bar) allow more than one tap to be supplied. IP 25 protection and a 60 °C maximum inlet temperature make the unit suitable for reheating solar-preheated water.
Smartphone control with the FXE3 adapter
With an FXE3 (C) radio adapter and the Smart Control app, the temperature can be set from a phone or tablet (iOS 9 / Android 4.4 and newer). An FXS 3 (C) remote control module is also available as an accessory.
