The KitchenAid Artisan Plus 5KSM50PKVEOC stand mixer combines planetary mixing action, an integrated LED bowl light and a dual speed control system. It ships with a 4.7 L stainless steel bowl and four attachments, while the front power hub accepts the wider range of KitchenAid attachments.
LED bowl light for accurate dosing
The beam falls straight onto the mixture, so you can read its texture without leaning over the bowl. It matters most when whipping egg whites or cream, where the right moment to stop is a matter of seconds.
11 speeds plus a precision dial
The dual control system lets you lock in a preset step or fine-tune the speed with the dial. Soft Start ramps the motor up gradually to keep flour inside the bowl, while the 1/2 speed setting folds delicate ingredients in gently.
Planetary action with 59 touchpoints
The attachment spins on its own axis while travelling around the bowl wall, so dough comes together without stopping to scrape. The zinc housing keeps the machine planted even in stiff bread dough.
Complete stainless steel attachment set
You get a flat beater, a dough hook, a wire whisk and a double-sided flex edge beater whose silicone edges scrape the bowl as it mixes. The clear pouring shield contains splatter and has a chute for adding ingredients on the fly.
Multipurpose hub for optional attachments
The socket at the front of the motor head drives KitchenAid attachments such as the meat grinder, pasta rollers, slicer or juicer. One machine then covers grinding and slicing without a second appliance on the counter.
