The CANDY CY-18QBIN-A/CY-18QBOUT-A inverter air conditioner is an 18000 BTU/h wall-mounted split system built for large living rooms, offices and open-plan spaces. It runs on R32 refrigerant, connects to your smartphone over Wi-Fi and keeps heating at outdoor temperatures as low as -20 °C.
18000 BTU/h for large rooms
Rated output is 5.000 kW in cooling and 5.200 kW in heating, with airflow of up to 900 m³/h. That capacity suits spacious living rooms and open kitchen-dining areas where a smaller unit struggles to hold the set temperature.
A++ energy class in cooling
The seasonal SEER rating is 6.1 and SCOP is 4 for the average climate zone, giving A+ in heating. The inverter compressor varies its speed continuously instead of switching on and off, holding the set temperature steadily.
Wi-Fi control from your phone
The unit can be switched on and adjusted remotely from an app, so the room is already comfortable when you walk in. Auto-restart restores the last settings after a power cut.
Self-cleaning and antibacterial filter
The sterilising cycle dries and treats the indoor heat exchanger, the place where moisture and stale odours usually build up. The antibacterial filter is removable and washable, keeping the airflow clean through the season.
