The ELDOM WVS08044FD Spectra Dry 80 L storage water heater covers the daily hot-water needs of a family bathroom and kitchen. Real capacity is 77 L, heated by two 1200 W dry tube elements that never touch the water. It mounts vertically on the wall and runs on a single-phase supply.
Dry heaters isolated from the water
The heating elements sit inside enamelled metal tubes fixed to the flange, so limescale never builds up on them and heating efficiency stays constant over the years. A technician can replace an element without draining the tank. The illuminated double switch runs one or both heaters, depending on how much hot water you need.
SHIELD enamel plus two magnesium anodes against corrosion
The tank is coated with zirconium enamel using SHIELD technology, resistant to high temperature and wear. Two magnesium anodes protect the entire inner volume, including the areas around the connections and the flange.
HFO Closed-Cells insulation over 33 mm thick
The new-generation polyurethane foam has a fine closed-cell structure that keeps the water hot between heating cycles. Declared annual energy consumption is 1412 kWh, in energy class C.
Six levels of operating protection
The unit combines a metal valve with non-return and safety functions, a capillary thermal cut-out against overheating and a patented flange design for overpressure safety. The thermostat keeps the water above 5 °C to prevent freezing in unheated rooms, and ingress protection is IP24.
ECO mode at 60 °C and temperature indicator
The external capillary thermostat turns smoothly to the temperature you want, with the 60 °C setting the most economical for everyday use. The maximum setting is used for thermal disinfection of the tank. The panel indicator shows how far heating has progressed.
